  • Does it puzzle you just how wrong the “experts” have been about everything to do with COVID? And we’re not talking off by a few percentage points… they’ve been off by factors of ten!

    • They were not wrong, they made decisions based on what they knew at the time. Nobody knew about this new virus, including the experts. So, give them a break!!! Instead of blaming them for something they said months ago, why don't you listen to what they say now which is based on new knowledge. There were experts who once believed Earth was flat. Should we question the fact that Earth is spherical because the experts were once wrong about this? Unfortunately, your video misinforms people. With 200 000 deaths now in the US, people should follow the up to date guidelines from the experts instead of wasting time watching your stuff.

  • I would trust the experts and the media more if they would say we were wrong about X. We came to that conclusion based on Y. We now have access to Z and are rethinking what’s going on. Problem is the media says X hides and fabricates Y. And never corrects for Z.

  • Here are the geniuses in Illinois at its' worst. Halloween Guidelines. Here’s a summary, straight from IDPH guidelines: Neighborhood trick-or-treating 1. "As an alternative to door-to-door trick-or-treating, anyone who would like to distribute treats should leave individually wrapped candy or treats on a table, on their front walkways, sidewalks, or any outdoor space that allows for at least 6 feet of social distance from the door,” IDPH says. “The individually wrapped candy should be spread out so each piece is not touching another. Anyone distributing candy or treats should wash their hands properly for at least 20 seconds before placing the candy on the table and when replenishing." 2. "All individuals participating in trick-or-treating, including those passing out candy should maintain social distance of least 6 feet and wear proper face coverings. A costume mask, such as those worn for Halloween, is not a substitute for a face covering. If face coverings are worn under costume masks, please ensure this does not create breathing problems, and if so, discard the costume mask." 3. "Only household members should trick-or-treat together, and they should maintain 6-feet social distance from other trick-or-treaters at all times. Mixed household trick-or-treaters are discouraged." 4. "Alcohol-based hand sanitizer should be carried and used frequently." 5. "Candy collected during trick-or-treating should not be consumed until after handwashing. As always, a parent/guardian should check all candy to make sure it is wrapped and should discard unwrapped candy. And, of course, practice good dental hygiene as well." 6. "Outdoor areas are preferred for trick-or-treating. Enclosed indoor areas, like apartment buildings, present greater risk of transmission. Open doors and windows as appropriate to promote increased ventilation."

  • This is what I’ve come to terms with, we can al agree that living out everyday life there is risk, a lot of everyday life involves the risk of death, when driving , going into work or school, getting the flu getting cancer etc. point is there is tons of risk. However if I let every risk dictate how I lived my life then I’d have a pretty sad life, that being said looking at the numbers and data collected, the risk simply isn’t big enough for me to stop living my normal life

    zeroxluluzeroxluluVor 2 Monate
    • I completely understand you. The problem that you have makes sense - I used to respect many of these people, too. Hell, I used to support Trump until I realized how much of a con-artist he really was all this time (In case you're not aware, he's in it for himself while masquerading as someone who loves America. What he really cares about improving his public image, no matter what he must resort to; everything else is secondary.). The whole "conservatives believe in facts over feels while liberals believe in feelings only" is one of the biggest lies I used to believe. You know what the real truth is? They're *ALL* feelings over facts. Not the politicians - they're just actors playing their role (many don't even believe what they're saying - they do what they must to get their money from all sides of the political spectrum) - I'm talking about we the people. Want to know how to break free of this garbage? Start by learning critical thinking skills. Actually read an introductory book on Logic from cover to cover. And most importantly, always question *YOUR OWN BELIEFS* constantly. If you realize you were wrong, you will be grateful for knowing that. Try attacking your beliefs with the strongest arguments against them because *if what you believe is true, then it can stand up to scrutiny.* It will be hard, but try strengthening rather than attacking your _opponent's arguments against your own beliefs!_ Why? Because if what you believe is true, it should be able to stand tall in the face of the best argument against what you believe. Watch the video called "Why Smart People Believe Silly Things." Read the book called "How to Think About Weird Things: Critical Thinking for a New Age." (you can find the pdf on libgen). Good luck.

  • I think a model predicting 2 million dead used a model where there is no lockdown, mask wearing, social distancing or any state level action, in this you cannot possible say they were wrong. 2 million was not a prediction but a model with parameters constituting a control level of ‘no action at all’ How stupid can you be to talk such blatant shit saying the experts, experts, were completely wrong Dosent change the fact that the US has one of the highways death tolls in the world, even compared to Europe, and is still rising

    Warning PlanetWarning PlanetVor 3 Monate
    • @Michael Musson Totally false! That prediction was based on the following: _"In the (unlikely) absence of any control measures or spontaneous changes in individual behavior, we would expect a peak in mortality (daily deaths) to occur after approximately 3 months. In such scenarios, given an estimated R0 of 2.4, we predict 81% of the G.B. and U.S. populations would be infected over the course of the epidemic… In total, in an unmitigated epidemic, we would predict approximately 510,000 deaths in G.B. and 2.2 million in the U.S., not accounting for the potential negative effects of health systems being overwhelmed on mortality."_

There is no final wrong or right while it is still going on, and it is still very much going on. Also, I think we cannot denied that there's a virus killing the oldest people of society if you will, so take responsability and do your research, read the papers about the virus, search about the situation in Italy or Spain and make a conclusion, don't be emotionally driven.

People have been harping on this idea for so long and we’ve seen so little of their predictions be anywhere near accurate that they’ve become the little boy who cried wolf. I just don’t believe it any more. I’ve yet to see anything more than predictions wildly missing the mark and blatant fear mongering from the people pushing for more regulations and legislation around climate change. I’m not convinced it’s anything more than a vehicle for achieving political power and scoring popularity points for the next election.

      Talon GreenleeTalon GreenleeVor 4 Monate
    • ......It's happening. Just not in a timeframe you can see. May I ask, do you understand how long things like climate takes to change naturally on earth?(pretty long, right) And do you realize that if you know how long it takes to naturally change on Earth it might be pretty alarming to see things like CO2 levels changing at the rate they are changing? And not even C02 levels, but we are starting to see a trend upwards. If it really is natural, then we should be looking into technology how to stop it. But what your politicians are telling you, isn't that man made climate change isn't a thing, they are telling you world wide scientific consensus is wrong and that we don't even need to look into this trend upwards of warming. How stupid do you have to be? Whether it is man made or not. If it wans't man made, our scientists would be looking at ways to reduce it.

  • What you need are some opposing views in your show. And I don't mean someone who literally opposes everything you say, as that comes across as obviously fake. What I mean is that, every so often, at least one person needs to go "Hold on Steven - I think you're going a bit far" or "Steven, you're talking shit now!" or even just "Yeah, I agree with you on that point, but on the other point I believe you've got it wrong". All you hear in the background is everyone saying "Yeah", "Yup", "Yes", "Uh huh". They're basically a group of Yes-men who always agree with whatever Steven says. That too comes across as fake. For example, he said that the US is first in the world for testing - where did he get that number from? Right now, the US has 44,522 test per 1 million population, which is lower than many other countries and have only recently started to close the gap somewhat. The only statistics that are good are the number of deaths per 1 million population which is lower than pretty much all other large nations, which is something the leftist media do not report on. But things like these need to be questioned instead of people just nodding in the background.

  • I will repeat this. You who are depopulation this Earth should cut the shit. Obviously we are dying but you cannot add insult to injury.....taking our God given away WHILE we die is overkill. Let the strong survive and stay back or you will be destroyed. Be grateful your compounds are intact, while the orchestrated calamities befalling the great populous causing you great intensive joy, as you believe falsely. Those who are going to die you cannot save, nor do you want to save, as dragging mothers out of their cars for not wearing the proper virus gear is your forte. Spinning the flu was a clever idea to lay the groundwork for Marshal Law, anything to commit and get away with high treason.

  • I'm trying to do research on this and I'm having a hard time finding some secure facts about what you said and the CDC. A lot of it seems just all over the place. Does anyone have any good sources to look at?

  • Fauci had a plan. He wanted total collapse of our nation. Then Fauci and Gates make billions on vaccine. I lost my sister from complications of Covid and died afraid and alone in Nursing home after hospital denied Covid patients in Washington state by our Gov. Inslee! We're grieving alone not able to be with family or have a service. Fauci is evil!

  • It wasn't about being right or wrong, they just wanted to see if the citizens would fold and be good little sheep. Yes, yes we would. Next step, take away all constitutional rights.

  • Slinging mud at Trump is not a good idea. EVERYTIME they did it, it gets better and better. I'm waiting for the reopening of the country. I've been hearing the "EXPERTS" saying there's going to be a spike in cases.

  • They got it 'wrong' . . . . which is SUCH a loaded word, btw . . . . They got it wrong because there is STILL the racial memory f the Spanish Flu of 1919 AND the Black Death, m'kay? This Covid was such an unknown quantity they did what they felt was correct AT THE TIME because they only had the aforementioned Pandemics to refer to. It's about time you people stopped trying to find someone to blame for it - Makes all y'all sound like Democrat scumbags. What's done is done, stop crying over the spilt milk.

  • Im just fed up with waffling ‘experts’, and how the media’s attempt at fear mongering. Im not saying it’s real, or not, but if people say there’s a disease going around: I will respect the rules. But the media keeps changing them, with each ‘expert’ that they talk to. It’s annoying.
