  • What do you think? Does systemic racism exist in America? And why or why not?

    • Of course there's systemic racism! It's called Affirmative Action

    • I don't think america is systematically racist. I do however think that, there is an alarming amount of racist people in america. And I also think that although systems in america are no longer racist, black people are still dealing with issues that came to light when america was systematically racist so they still are at a disadvantage, so technically speaking, I think America is racist, but not systematically if that makes sense

    • Yes and no because the CIA dropped guns and drugs off in our black communities so that they can fund a war overseas. So in doing so, they blamed us for it, and president Nixon created the war on drugs. Behind that, the crime bill was created, not only backed by Hillary Clinton, who called us predators, but also Joe Biden. It is only NOW that Trump is doing his best to eliminate that systemic racism on black americans in particular

      RokuRokuVor 14 Tage
    • Systematically? No. Not at all. I’ve never even met a racist, only people who come off as racist. But none the less, I know there are racists out there. I just don’t know where.

  • “Takes longer to become a barber than an officer with a gun.” Truer words never been spoken. Honestly, make the training and requirements to become a cop actually mean something. GSG-9 takes 3 years in Germany for fully trained and that’s their elite police force, can we not come up with a year long training program for our officers here instead of just a few months that are essentially a crash course? Invest more money into training and education AND upkeep on policing skills. Quality training will lead to quality cops.

  • The only problem i see rasicm will be around for ages and years until people change.. Which will never happen 🤔.. Rasicm started in America along time ago and problem is people still teaching it to their kids... It would not change until people change..which is a hard thing to do. If that happens pigs can fly.

He trusted judgment, expressed curiosity. Just love. Really good one. He didn’t argue when he didn’t know something. He just asked. He was honest. He was a good person. And when we are honest and good, we prevail. Love.

  • Me and crowder are on way opposite ends of the political spectrum but this is one issue we can agree with...cops need better training! It is such a cop out to be a cop sometimes because its easy to go through the course a hairdresser has to put in more hours of schooling than a cop does but these are the guys who are supposedto serve and protect...cops need higher wages it is embarrassing what we as the ppl pay cops if we raised there wages then more and more dedicated ppl will join the force instead of ppl who feel like they don't have an other option...there needs to be systems in place where some these cops are interacting with the community and starting to build repore with the ppl especially in low income communities...lastly cops need to start being held accountable for their actions we need to start to weed out the bad cops who give a bad name for the million of good ones

  • Also, when looking at crime you have to look at history. History for black people in America has always been that of poverty. The government has always induced poverty on blacks people and poverty correlates to crime. Therefore, we have to have an empathy and understanding of the past to create a better future.

  • As a criminal justice major going into policing we learn from day 1 the system is biased and racist. Do I think America as a whole is just purely racist? No, but I do believe legislation and other policies have been enacted to inhibit the growth financially of black people in America. But, I also feel that the media pushes narratives that try to change people’s views of people or institutions. Like how every cop is portrayed as racist and bad which we know is not true, as well as, black men portrayed in a lot of news outlets as criminals. Media is very divisive and plays a huge part in our outlooks on things. I think everyone is inherently a little prejudice over time, but it’s what you do with those initial thoughts or judgements.

    will cwill cVor 11 Tage
  • I think when he starts to talk about statistics he starts to lose me, statistics are as useful as an opinion, statistics are a number based on some sort of scale that we can't substantiate, and just because there is a statistic does it mean we forget about the circumstances that create that statistic, like systemic racism

  • The way I see it America the reason why my people are in the state we are in now is because America was made into a class system where black people were already on the lowest part of the ladder and white people were on top (given they were the majority of people as well). Truth is it can't be done where everyone is equal, the only other options are to flip the hierarchy of power or actually fix the problems wrong that hinder us from living comfortably and stop making it a race issue because it wouldn't work to argue and demean the very people you are trying to convince of change because if anything they would just respond with indifference in spite. Also if your the type to respond with something similar to "I don't give a fuck" then the real issue is that you don't want to solve the problem, you want to vent anger because no one who wants to solve a problem completely disregards the acknowledgement of something not working unless they are crazy.

Maybe compared to US slavery and killing natives standards you believe that there is no racism, but there absolutely is. They are two young kids that have had little to no experience in the real world...those two kids were just happy to be on the show...but he wouldn’t have these debates with adults with experience with systemic racism, that actually know what they are talking about because most if not all of his talking points would consistently be debunked...I’m mad I wasted my time on the second video...but I wanted to see if he chose a better opponent to debate with on Part 2 before I came to the conclusion that Steven Crowder’s channel is super trash and he pushes conservative agenda through his channel.

I've seen people in the comments talk about how all liberals would call him whitewashed or racist which I don't disagree with but not all us are like that. I wish right-leaning and left-leaning people would stop being stuck up, loosen up a bit, and just talk. Respecting each other morals is highly important as you also stand firm in your beliefs. I know some of my fellow liberals will feel salty about it but the guy isn't racist or whitewashed. He's doing what liberals and conservatives should be doing: listening and learning.
