    • @Jake Bordignon what about Bank of America giving higher interest rates to minorities and people of color? You don’t get fined 300 million for not doing anything wrong. What about red-lining? Do some research people. It’s funny that he chooses the youngest black person to interview when he hasn’t been in the adult world long enough. He’s likely to see systemic racism when he buys a house, get a bank loan, etc. There might not be outright racist laws but imagine two of your friends playing monopoly. You join the game under the same rules but the rent has been raised, the properties are owned. Same rules, hundreds of years behind.

  • Ima need Steven to stop saying we ended slavery. The 13th amendment states "Neither slavery nor involuntary servitude, except as a punishment for crime whereof the party shall have been duly convicted, shall exist within the United States, or any place subject to their jurisdiction." EDIT: Also what happened to Ahmaud Arbery is a modern day lynching. 1) He was falsely accused of trespassing with the intent to steal, but in the video (and a statement from the homeowner) he never took anything. Also, in Georgia you commit trespass when you enter after being denied consent, or commit a crime within the house. Neither of those apply to Arbery, therefore those men had no right to perform a citizens arrest. 2) When Arbery grabbed that gun he had the right to self defense and the right to stand his ground. Evidence shows that prior to the event in the video one of the men who were chasing him hit him with a car, and that counts as assault even if he didn't intend to. 3) Emmett Till was killed by two men and it is still referred to as a lynching. 2nd EDIT: Ahmaud Arbery didn't threaten to fuck up that cop. I watch the footage from start to finish and the closest thing he says to that is "you got me fucked up".

  • 1) Classism is not racism. Two different definitions - fact 2) Kendall claims he lives in the best country in the world but claims systemic racism in America - contradiction 3) Kendall states he is possibly partially racist (more than once) states systemic racism in America - cause of self oppression 4) Kendall states he’s from a very privileged family -stated his dad gets paid by public transit - contradiction 5) Kendall states he is outnumbered in the near city area - irrelevant to racism 6) Kendall states ghetto area do not have the best schools - Kendall, you say we are living in the best country in the world. You say most black people are poor. Fact: This is the land of the free meaning - we all have the freedom to find true happiness, freedom to better our lives, move to a better area where there are more jobs, better schools, freedom to use vast resources, freedom to use our brains, make sacrifices for better life, as an adult take full responsibility for our life and freedom to become a productive member of society. Life is about making the best choices for ourselves and making the best decisions for ourselves. That is our freedom we are all privileged to have here in this beautiful country. Kendall’s points all debunked. 👍

  • This is really a double edged sword to me. Systematically its not as racist as it seems. The people who run said government yes I believe are racist. Some of the education itself should be more open. Over the years America has put certain pieces of history in schools to feed their agenda of being a free standing country. I think we need to see America from it's dark sides not just the parts that made them look good. We all have been barbaric. As an Indigenous person I cant say that my people were always the amazing spiritual tribal men and women. Its life unfortunately we need to stop the racism that stems in America.

    Bert FrancisBert FrancisVor 2 Tage
  • Crowder believes “dead beat dads” are caused by welfare where in fact it’s the high ratio of black men being imprisoned. This goes back to Kendall stating that although their may not be systemic racism their is individual racism. Who do you think are the individuals imprisoning black men? Crowded himself said we need police reform. Of course not everyone is racist it depends on your background/upbringing just the same as perhaps criminals. Referring back to the fact that certain individuals are affected differently-to this day from slavery and suppression causing them to fall in these ghetto neighborhoods and the non privileged family structure. This may cause distress and poor education which statistically speaking leads to crime. Kendall himself states that he himself has been very privileged where others are not. Again, there are many white individuals who are unprivileged as well regardless of slavery but the ratio from whites to blacks is what ends this debate. I love this channel and finally found the first video where I disagree with crowder but hopefully he learned a bit more from a different POV.

  • I fully appreciate this kids willingness to sit down and have a friendly gentleman conversation on this subject. Its rarely seen. However, he falls into the same trappings as most who take his position. There is absolutely no personal accountability on the individuals decisions that they make. Its always an outside force that is causing the racial disparities they are seeing. At some point these people have to recognize that their individual choices are causing the results they are seeing. You cant legislate your way into success. There is no bill or reparation payment thats going to fix this. Its individual accountability and individual choices that will cause generational change. It is the only answer.

  • Ok... so Ik I’m going to get absolutely smashed for saying this, but I think that America is racist. Everybody can agree that our country has a terrible history for people of color, we treated them like animals for century’s. The thing is is that since that is a part of our history, our brains have been wired to sub-consciously or consciously be racist, some more than others. But by saying we are the least racist country in the world is quite dumb (no offense) because racism does exist and it is present in our country and ALWAYS will be. Again, feel free to destroy me for my down for a debate

    Benjamin RandallBenjamin RandallVor 2 Tage
    • That's so pessimistic, to say that we'll always be racist is horrible. Of course we do have a history of racism, I think we have been more accepting of race. Personally, I am a hispanic male and I have only had one encounter that I think could be deemed as racist. Whereas my grandmother would be made fun of because she couldn't speak English so much so that she didn't teach her children Spanish. I dont think anyone is wired to be racist, It's only about what you are taught. I was taught that color doesn't matter, im sure you were taught the same thing hopefully. But to say that we are inherently racist I think is a real disservice to the accolades we as a country have made towards equality.

  • I would love to switch places with this 19-year-old. The reason Colin Kaepernick was kneeling was not for another "man". He was kneeling for a GROUP OF MEN and WOMEN. Black Men and Women, who have been brutalized by corrupt racist evil cops and the justice system. You said it yourself, there are good cops but there are also bad cops, just like teachers. His message was to detest police brutality and fix our criminal justice system. For you to equate this to kneeling to god and you kneel “for no man” is so off bias of this situation. It is the same when an athlete takes a knee when another athlete is injured, a fallen teammate. It is a sign of respect. This happens across all spectrums of sports, from Football all the way down to JV Soccer Teams. I do not think you realize this because you have not been exposed to sports or you are ill informed. Then too attack him as an insufficient athlete is plain narcissism. You love numbers it seems. What are the odds of making it to the NFL? Then to Play in a Super Bowl and have performance like he did? He has mastered his craft far more greatly than you have relative to what you each do. Do you know where Colin got the idea to kneel and express his concern on the situation? He was inspired by Nate Boyer, a former Green Beret who served in the military for our country. You must assume a guy like Nate Boyer is very Noble? Do you not think he was rational in his recommendation to Colin? I like that you talk about controversial topics, but you can clearly tell you are one sided on most topics based on your demographic and most likely your surroundings and upbringing. Your topics are controversial yet very…. “Targeted”. What do you think about Pope Francis endorsing the same sex civil unions as a Christian?
